Gorse & Blackberry Control IN Central Victoria

Gorse and blackberry are two of the most persistent weeds landowners across Central Victoria deal with, and standard mulching alone rarely gets rid of them for good. Mountain View Contracting uses the Eco Blade, a tracked machine that cuts, mulches and treats the cut stump with herbicide in a single pass, targeting the root system for a permanent result.

It's built for properties across the Macedon Ranges, Bendigo region, Ballarat and wider Central Victoria, including sites standard machinery can't safely reach. If gorse or blackberry keeps coming back, this is the service built to stop that cycle.

How It Works

The Eco Blade combines three steps in one pass: cutting through the woody growth, mulching the tops into a light layer of mulch on site, and applying herbicide directly to the freshly cut stump. Because the herbicide is applied straight to the fresh wound, it's drawn into the root system before the plant can recover.

The result lasts. Standard mulching removes the top growth but leaves the root alive, so regrowth typically shows up within a season. Treating the stump directly breaks that cycle in one pass. It's also why landowners across the Macedon Ranges and Mount Alexander Shire who've tried other methods without lasting success are making the switch.

The tracked platform also reaches ground wheeled equipment can't: steep slopes, creek banks, swamps and uneven sites across the Macedon Ranges, Bendigo region and wider Central Victoria.
